We're back with the 2nd edition of the weekend Cabral #HouseCall !
Here are today's community questions I'll be answering:
Jen: Hi! I have two questions I've been thinking about and thought maybe they could be good for the podcast. One only affects half of the population, as you'll see: 1) what are your thoughts on the blood type diet? 2) what are your natural recommendations for common vaginal infections such as yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis?
Anonymous: Why does my stomach make so much noise?!??!!! It doesn't matter whether I have eaten or not it is always gurgling. This has happened for years. I have been plant-based for two years and thought that would have helped but, stomach still makes noise. I take probiotics. I drink kombucha. I have ACV... I can not tell that anything specific helps. Also, I can feel bubbling in the lower right quadrant of my abdomen, where I sometimes experience discomfort. (I could go on with more but I won't get too carried away. Wish I was closer...) Help with the noise, PLEASE, it is no fun in quiet work meetings.
Fro: Dr. Cabral, First, thank you so much for picking up my question respective chronic constipation; I look forward to your whole podcast about the topic!! Secondly, I've had greying hair since mid-end of my 20s and now with 35, I have a ton of grey hair. Is there a natural way to stop and/or reverse greying of hair? Thank you.
Fro: And last but not least, a dear cousin of mine has been dealing with grave's disease and various unpleasant symptoms thereof for a few years now and her doctor has been prescribing rather radical treatments (in my opinion), the latest to include the recommendation of eye surgery for the abnormal protrusion affecting one of her eyes...I cannot help but think that the treatments are short-term methods intended to mask the symptoms rather than addressing/treating the underlying cause for the disease. I thought I'd reach out to you! I'd appreciate any advice you might have! Thanks a million for your valuable time and for all you do!!!
Enjoy the Q&A and all the other tips thrown in along the way!

The Cabral #HouseCall weekend edition is here!
Today we are answering more of our Community's questions on all things wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging so let's get started!
Erika: Hi Dr. Cabral! Thank you so much for your wonderful podcast. I am so happy to have discovered it. I have two questions for you. I have been recently diagnosed with hashimotos, and am taking T3 and T4. The one thing that has yet to improve is that I am still ALWAYS cold. I am an athlete, work out, eat relatively clean, have low normal body fat, and at a healthy weight. Why am I always cold? Before the medication it was much worse,... but even with T3 and T4 it still isnt much better.
Erika: The second question I have is around my stools. I read somewhere that if your stool is always floating that is a bad thing, and could mean I have digestion issues. Is that true? This isnt just once in a while for me, it is always. Thanks!
Hayley: Hi Dr. Cabral- I had an allergy test done when I suspected that I had a reaction to peanuts. The test revealed a peanut allergy but also a corn and wheat allergy. I like using a greens powder in my smoothie, but almost all of them have wheat grass powder. I avoid eating bread and flour products, but should I avoid wheatgrass too? Thank you !
Anna: Thank You for all you do! 1.My boyfriend has "athlete's foot" or toe fungus. He has been putting various CVS/Walmart creams on it, that don't seem to be working. I told him to go natural route, but he gets overwhelmed with the options online. He has had this for years, since "football in college" and he is now 35. What can he do?
Thank you for tuning in and I hope you enjoy all tips!

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I don't think I would be where I am today without my 1-2 smoothie a day habit...
Out of everything I did to improve my digestive, adrenal, hormone, detox, skin, and other health issues, drinking my morning smoothie was and still is #1. So because of that discovery, I've pretty much used and experimented with every blender imaginable (I also love gadgets!)...
On today's #CabralConcept 279 I break down the differences between the Vitamix vs. Blendtec vs. NutriBullet vs. Ninja Blenders. I tell you what the variations are and what the main differences are between a $75 blender and a $525 blender. Plus, I give you my personal recommendations for all budgets....
Don't miss today's #FridayReview episode for all the details! Plus, today I'm giving you a free download link to my Top 7 Wellness & Weight Loss Smoothie Recipes - the same ones I use myself and give to the people I care for in my Boston Naturopathic practice. Enjoy the show!

A lot of people believe that cutting edge medical science is reserved for pharmaceutical drugs only, but that couldn't be any further from the truth...
And there's almost no better example of this then when looking at Functional Medicine nutritional supplements (not the ones at your local Costco, Walmart or drug store)...
The same peer-reviewed research goes into true health supporting supplements and an excellent example of that are the specific strains studied that have been proven to aid in weight loss, glucose support, and balancing gut bacteria...
Listen in on today's #CabralConcept 277 as I list which strains are the best for losing weight and maintaining it and the specific discoveries scientists made as to why this is the case...
Remember, there are no magic bullets when it comes to a weight loss pill, but these special probiotics have been shown in studies to potentially double your results... Enjoy the show!

The 2nd weekend edition of the Cabral House Call is here!
Here are today's community questions!
Carolina: Love listening to all your podcasts! Thanks for all you do and teach us. What are your thoughts on a product called SuperBeets? I am looking to have more energy and eventually not need coffee in the mornings.
Carlos: What is the best way(s) to fix an anterior pelvic tilt? Thanks in advance for your help!!
Patrick: I know you're not a fan of coffee/caffeine, but I'm curious-- is it caffeine that makes coffee detrimental or the compounds and makeup of coffee itself. Is drinking decaf OK?
Lisa: Hi Stephen I suffer with a form of migraine where I get a dull ache on the right side of my head and brain fog. I find this quite debilitating. The Dr has prescribed sumatriptan which works, but I would like to understand and eliminate the cause - what would you recommend? I recall on a former podcast you made a link between headaches, inflammation and anti-histamines and so I tried using my hayfever medication once (steroid nasal spray and regular anti-histamines tablets) which surprisingly worked! Please help!

We're back with our 1st Cabral HouseCall of the weekend!
Here are today's questions:
Anon Female: Herpes/Cold Sores Remedy I'm wondering if you could cover the following topics on your podcast: I know you did a quick segment on herpes (type 1, simplex) on your show once, but I'd really love for you to cover this in more detail. I've been getting cold sores on my face (lip, nose, eyes) since I was a little girl and still go through periods where I'm getting them all the time. If I can take valtrex/acyclovir right on it's emergence, I'm usually okay, but if not, it gets really bad. I hate to take this medication, as it's the only thing i will ever take (I won't even take advil!). Is there anything I can do, a certain protocol, that will keep the herpes dormant?
Anon: I've had 1-2 cysts on my scalp for the last 2-3 years and they don't seem to be going away. They're not getting any bigger, however, just staying the same. I recently just discovered a new one. They're small, probably about 1/8 of an inch in diameter and not red or visible, but I can feel them. Why is this occurring? And is there anything I can do about it? Thank you!
Jessie: hello. First off thank you for trying to help pass along the good word of health. My question is, I have started wearing earplugs to bed at night because i am an extremely light sleeper. EXTREMELY. I need room pitch black, and any sound will wake me. It seems to be helping me get a better sleep, but bothers my ears since not that comfortable.... I have also started to notice a ringing in my ears at night. Are these connected? Is being a light sleeper a sign of ill health? Is there another way to get more sound sleep?
Alana: Hello, Stephen Cabral & team! I have been listening to all of your podcasts (and interact with your instagram as @reachalana)- I just purchased your Parasite Cleanse Protocol tonight and cannot wait to start it ASAP (yes, I did priority shipping). I had a quick question: you say on the product description that "it's not enough to do a 3 or 4 week parasite cleanse". Does that mean I need to order 2 of the sets to use back-to-back? Please clarify. Also, are there detailed instructions that come with the Parasite Cleanse Protocol? Thank you so very much, Alana

Welcome to the #FridayReview where we'll be talking about all things wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging in regards to the health benefits of juicing!
Today's first product review is on the juicer I finally settled on after trying out over a dozen. The one I'll be talking about doesn't oxidize your fruits & vegetables the same way most commercial models do...
Next, I outline my favorite Fall juice recipe! It's has just the right amount of sweet (and warmth) to enjoy as temperatures start to drop a little... Plus, the health benefits of these particular ingredients are fantastic!
The last items I'll be reviewing today is a nutritional supplement for those that can't afford a daily organic fresh-pressed juice, don't have the time to make one, or don't want all the messy clean up...

20 years ago, my digestive system was barely functioning. I had trouble breaking down even easy to digest foods...
This led to a gradual weakening of my body and immune system, which resulted in a host of fatigue, GI, skin, auto-immune, brain fog, and other conditions...
It wasn't until I found out about the healing power of smoothies that I actually began to rebuild my body from the inside out. For the first time, I was able to absorb the nutrition from the pre-digested liquid smoothies and my body began to rapidly change...
But, not all smoothies are created equal (some are actually harmful), and as a result some people are not getting the benefits that they deserve...
Tune into today's #CabralConcept 270 to get the same exact wellness & weight loss smoothie recipes that I give my private clients in my Boston Naturopathic Medicine practice!

There's probably no other plant based food in the world with more controversy and arguments over it than coffee...
On one side, we have the coffee proponents who talk about its high levels of antioxidants and the research showing it can improve everything from cardiovascular function to decreasing Alzheimer's...
Then, there are the anti-coffee advocates with an equaling compelling argument that coffee can over-stimulate the adrenal glands, cause burn out, and harm digestive function...
So who's right? i think the answer will surprise you, and I'll share it with you in more depth today on the #CabralConcept 269 podcast - enjoy the show!

Somewhere along the way most of us bought into a false belief that is holding us back from achieving greater things in our life...
We've been brainwashed into thinking that "changing," or becoming more than what we were brought up in, is somehow bad or disrespectful to our current friends, family or co-workers...
This type of thinking forces us to set small goals and never really feel fully realized or alive. It's also this mentality that leaves us with a life-time of regret of what might have been...
Tune into today's #CabralConcept 268 to find out why this thinking occurs and how to break the cycle, so that you too can enjoy the life you've always wanted to live!

The 2nd Cabral House Call of the weekend is here and I'm looking forward to tackling your most important and pressing questions today!
Here's what the topics are for today's show:
Emily: Hi Dr. Cabral, I grind my teeth loudly when I sleep. My teeth also hurts often and sensitive to heat/cold. Any recommendations on how to fix this? Thanks!
Ann: Hi Dr. Cabral, We really liked episode 254, its always nice to hear what rules and guidelines other people set for themselves in the way of healthy choices. Also, if you didn't receive the email we sent, we wanted to thank you so much for the bizarre recommendation (episode 246) of placing a bar of soap at the foot of the bed to help with symptoms of RLS (restless leg syndrome) It actually WORKS! We look forward to each and every podcast. Have a great day. + Hi Dr. Cabral, I was thinking of purchasing the Fatlossity Diet Plan manual, could you explain more about this product. Is it intended for short term, or a long term way of nutritional eating? Thanks!
Dee: Any suggestions on a quick and drug free way to get rid of a dyshidrotic eczema rash? I deal with them from time to time. I understand rashes stem from the liver, so I'm juicing and eating raw, taking milk thistle and using coffee enemas. I'm also doing vinegar and domeboro soaks, and using shea butter mixed with lavendar and frankincense. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.
Elizabeth: Hi Stephen, I have read Inositol is good for that "get up and go feeling" and any anxiety/irritability, do you have any thoughts on this product? Love listening to your shows, Thanks! :) - Take with B

Welcome back to another Cabral HouseCall weekend!
Today we're taking more calls from the community and we've got some great questions today!
So let's get started:
Rebecca: Hi Dr Cabral, LOVE your podcast. Thank you so much for all of the helpful information you provide. I have several questions I'd love to ask but here are my top 3 for now: 1) What are your thoughts on digestive enzymes? After trying the GAPS, low FODMAP, and other elimination diets as well as probiotics, digestive enzymes are the only thing that have helped with my bloating/distended stomach. It hasn't cured me of it but it has significantly reduced it so that it doesn't occur every day. 2) Have you heard of Longevity Coffee, and if so, do you recommend it?
Donna: I’ve recently been introduced to your podcasts and I'm finding them timely, informative and enjoyable. I'm having a particularly challenging time right now, from all directions. This evening, as I was having a pity party, your podcast popped into my head. I gave myself the "10X" test and reminded myself to 1. be thankful that things aren't worse and 2. to focus on creating positive change. My question about supplements is something I've wondered about for a long time...when is the optimal time to take them...morning, midday or before going to bed?
Erin: Hi! I'm 26 yr old female. 2 years ago I got in a car accident that burst fractured my L1. Ever since I have not felt the same and all doctors have done is prescribe pills that block pain receptors. I am struggling with intense leg spasms almost every morning. They last 10-30 seconds and is very painful. It has not seemed to get better even with working out and occasional stretching. I eat a lot of potassium which only temporarily helps. Maybe one day and the muscle cramps are back. What can you suggest?
Anonymous: Hi Stephen, I have a toe nail infection in both big toes and both toe nails have now come off. Is it unsual to have both toe nails infected? I don't know how or why this happened. A new nail is growing underneath but I am not sure if the infection has gone. What is best to treat this, I have read topical oregano oil may be good?

The 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend is here where we're answering your questions that have come in over the past few weeks!
So let's get started and here are today's community questions:
Susan: Hello Dr Cabral I am an avid podcast listener and am so disappointed you are in Boston! I think you need to open a Toronto clinic! My question is about psoriasis. I have it but not too bad - scalp only. My 2 daughters have developed it as well one is 16 one is 7 . The 7 year old developed it after she scraped her knee. Just wondering what I could try to get rid of it and if you can "cure" this auto immune issue thru diet. Most information seems to say no. Also looking online and various studies show that people who get psoriasis before the age of 25 have a shortened life span. This is disturbing for me and looking for some help. Susan
Max: Hi Dr. Cabral, I'm writing on behalf of my friend Sally - she has a 12 year old son diagnosed with ADHD. She has not, nor does she want to get him on medication to treat it. Now that those teen hormones are kicking in, they are struggling. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions on how to help them navigate and or treat ADHD? Thank you! Maxiel
Chad: Thanks for all of the great info!! What are your thoughts on the trap bar deadlift? It works the anterior chain more than a traditional deadlift, so is it a good substitute in a routine for squatting and deadlifting since it seems to be a combination of the two? I used to squat heavy, but now I’m no longer of fan of loading my spine with heavy weights
